The bars and slide tube are made from 4130 chromoly tubing which makes them the strongest bars available today at only a slight increase in weight. The slide tube has a lock on the bottom so it wont come up while you are riding. The FTG is steel and is plated for corrosion resistance. They are 18" wide and come in 2 different lengths.
